Author Biography

M I N G is an identical twin sister and an author. She has co-authored several books with her twin, W A H: The Ming and Wah Detective Series, Escape: One Day We Had to Run, Ling Ling Looked in the Mirror and Sassparilla's New Shoes. Ming has run ninety full marathons and earned a Bachelor's and an MBA from Harvard. She is based in Hong Kong.

W A H loves big words, beautiful suburbs, and British mystery series. With degrees from Columbia University and the University of California, Los Angeles, Wah works as an affordable housing real estate developer in L.A. She and her identical twin sister M I N G live across the world from each other but are in communication daily, conferring, conspiring, and co-creating.

Sarah Morrissette is an illustrator from California, based in Vienna. She grew up on a Greek island and spent her teen years on a hippie commune in Northern California. After studying English at UCLA, she met her husband and moved to Austria. Her cartoons have appeared in publications like The New Yorker, Narrative, Alta, and Woman's World. This is her first time illustrating a children's book.
